The Washington, D.C.-based Coalition for Juvenile Justice, in a study titled "Childhood on Trial: The Failure of Trying and Sentencing Youth in Adult Criminal Court," said "adult time for adult crime" policies have failed. The Connecticut Juvenile Justice Alliance was one of the organizations asked to participate in the release of the report in Boston and provide comment on trying and sentencing youth as adults.
