Trends in Transfer of Juvenile to Adult Criminal Court
Researcher's have recently completed a 5-year study, summarizing the results in Juvenile Transfer to Criminal Court Study: Final Report. The researchers found that youth who receive sanctions and rehabilitation in Florida's juvenile justice system have a lower rate of recidivism than their counterparts who are transferred to adult criminal court.
